It'll get better...
"Upside Down" by Jack Johnson
Who's to say
What's impossible
Well they forgot
This world keeps spinning
And with each new day
I can feel a change in everything
And as the surface breaks reflections fade
But in some ways they remain the same
And as my mind begins to spread its wings
There's no stopping curiosity
I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found
I'll share this love I find with everyone
We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs
I don't want this feeling to go away
Who's to say
I can't do everything
Well I can try
And as I roll along I begin to find
Things aren't always just what they seem
I want to turn the whole thing upside down
I'll find the things they say just can't be found
I'll share this love I find with everyone
We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs
This world keeps spinning and there's no time to waste
Well it all keeps spinning spinning round and round and
Upside down
Who's to say what's impossible and can't be found
I don't want this feeling to go away
Please don't go away
Please don't go away
Please don't go away
Is this how it's supposed to be
Is this how it's supposed to be
I heard this song as I was showering tonight, and I've loved this song ever since I first heard it! It is quite possibly the cutest music video I've ever seen. Too cute. This soundtrack is an awesome one. I was excited when I heard that there was a Curious George movie coming out, and when I heard that Jack Johnson was doing all of the music on the soundtrack, well, I knew I HAD to have it. It's a great CD. It's a nice relaxing CD that will calm people's nerves. Good times.
Speaking of calming nerves, I was told tonight that I need to go swimming, or find some new hobbies. I was talking to Adam and telling him how my back has been hurting for the past few weeks because of the stress from my kids. He asked me what I did to calm down and de-stress. Well, I relax and watch a movie or go window shopping. It's what I've done for years. Although, if I have friends close by, we go walking and talk about it or I can go over to their rooms, write down what's bothering me, and then rip up what I've written. But, alas, I can't do that as of this moment. I told him it wasn't really warm enough out to go swimming. It may be in the 60s, but the pool isn't heated. I was always told that I couldn't go swimming unless it was 70 or above. That's when Adam told me that I didn't live near mom, and didn't have to listen to her. Oh well, I'm not going swimming anywhere that has had snow fall from the sky in the past few days.
I can't wait for Adrienne's visit! I only have 1 week and 4 days left! It'll be awesome having someone here from home. I don't know what to plan for, but I should probably wait to hear from Adrienne to see when her flight comes in and what she wants to do and such. It'll be a great stress reliever...for both of us I think.
