Pococurante

Well, I really don't have anything to add tonight, but I figure that I should since I now I have high speed.

This morning as I was getting my room ready for the day, my phone started ringing. I've kinda already figured out who calls before and after school, so I knew who was on and had knew what they were calling for. Of course it was about the lockdown yesterday. I figured her daughter had told her about it, but I guess it was on the news last night. I didn't think they'd actually put it out there. I spent my lunch looking to see if I could find anything on the net about it. This article actually names Watson! As I get excited about my school being mentioned that it was on lockdown. I'm sick, I know. My kids weren't TOO bad today. There were only 3 notes home tonight. I did get to have the students who have stayed on green for the past two weeks pick out their prizes. (They have to color in the color they ended the day on, and at the end of the week they take them home to get signed. If they get two weeks in a row, they get a prize, and then wait another 2 weeks for another prize.) They were kinda crappy prizes, but hey, I can only afford Dollar Tree right now, and they can deal with Easter stuff. Winners can't be choosers...or something like that.

I have made my first plan for when I get home. I'm getting my hair cut!!! I can't handle it much more. It's getting too long. When it gets long enough for a pony tail, it's too long. This coming from a girl who hasn't had her hair this short since early high school. I've lived with hair long enough to pull back forever. Looking back at pics, I can't handle it anymore. Yes, I'm waiting to get my hair cut at home. I have to get over the fact that I haven't had anyone but my stylist cut my hair since I was a sophomore in high school. I would come home for hair cuts in college, and she would come in especially for me. I can't break this bond yet! I'm sure more plans will follow...THEY BETTER!

I got my silicone baking stuff from my parents today. Well, I got them this weekend, but the postman doesn't like listening to me. Last week, Mary Kay sent me a package, and the locker the postman put it in, the key doesn't work. This week, he put it in the same locker. Anyhoo...I got the baking stuff, and then mom sent me the daily crosswords and Godiva hot chocolate. I got addicted to that stuff at the end of my tenure at BN, and have been craving it lately. I miss getting coffee and anything cafe related half off! My time spent in the cafe making drinks also helped me with this hot chocolate. I knew exactly what to mix and such. The instructions only called for milk, but in the cafe at BN, it's half milk and half half-and-half. It makes it richer with the half-an-half. It was damn good. It made Gilmore Girls better, and it warmed me up. I don't like the wind here. If it's windy, it's not just a breeze, it's damn gale force winds. I guess it's a breeze out here, but back home it's gale force winds. It cooled down a lot since the sun set, and I got really cold. It's not supposed to get out of the 40s this weekend, and there's a slight possibility for snow in the higher elevations of the city. I'm on the lower end. I'm still higher than some, but not too much higher. I guess I can break out the sweaters this weekend :). Although the winter coat will not make it out. NEVER. I will not have that thing show it's face here. I will not stand for it!

On a totally different note...I'm listening to Radio Disney on my digital cable (I know, I'm a loser). I want to hear what my kids should be listening to, even though they aren't (seeing as how they were singing Laffy Taffy and 1,2, Step). I was listening to it, and "Can't Touch This" and "Mambo #5" were on. That's not right for little kids. They're playing all of the songs from my high school and college days. Although, compared to the stuff that's on the radio now...it's good.

Anyway...I should think about getting to bed. Hopefully tomorrow will be a great day!

    Kristy Kristy Kristy!!

I think when you move over one thousand miles away, you don't have to worry about cheating on your sylist! I think that is one of the few relationships in which if you are so far apart it is okay to have another person's hands all over you.

There are a couple of good songs on the radio! I love the song SOS. Oh, and You're Beautiful. Good songs. Why do you have to be a hater like that!?!
