I'm Alive!

Yes, I know it's been a long time since I've updated, but I now have a life! It's hard to believe, but I do.

Long update short...I had a wonderful time at home over break. I got to go up to Green Bay and see everyone I wanted to see. It was awesome when I got to see people I haven't seen in over a year. I do miss seeing those people as often as I used to see them. The best was when I was driving to Wrightstown to see Jimmy and Wayne. Just as I was passing St. Norbert, it started snowing! I was SO excited!! I also thought that it was awesome that it started there. It wasn't so awesome when I had to drive back into Green Bay from there when there was slushy snow and such on the highway. I haven't driven in the snow in over a year! I did get to clean off 2 cars, and found that my brown shoes let water leak into them. Not cool. Overall, it was a great trip to Green Bay. Home was great too. Got to see almost all of my friends. Hung out with the fam, and made it in to see both grandmas.

I'm back in the swing of things with school. The kids are getting better. I'm able to joke around with them, and get them back into what we're working on. The other day I ended up jumping rope with them at recess. I was even heckled by a student when I wanted to give up and go eat lunch! Our assistant principal left us. I really grew to like her a lot, and will have to adjust to her not being there for me. I know the principal will be there for me to talk to, but I don't know her as well as the assistant principal. I have time to get to know her though. It'll be a good thing.

Things with friends out here are good. I had a few people over a couple of weeks ago. We ended up playing games, and got really competitive. It's good times had by all.

This year's birthday was a complete 180 from last year. I actually had friends to go out with! We all started out at dinner, and then only 3 of us went to the Strip so I could get my HUGE drink (a true yard long...3 feet of liquor!). I wasn't able to finish it. I know, first sign of growing up. If I hadn't had that drink at dinner...

That's all I have right now. I need to relax before heading to school in the morning. It's been a long weekend...
