Quick update

Alright, I decided that I would update.

I had a totally good night, and I just can't get to sleep.
Tonight I got together with Patty and Dan. Originally, Patty and I were going to hang out after she got done with the Badger game. Well, Dan was bored and having a crappy day, so I went over to his place to wait for Patty to get done. I heard him playing his Super Nintendo, so I told him that I was going to be playing when I came over. We got to talking, and I unburied our original NES and it's games. Damn, it was fun playing that again! We got online to find the codes for the game genie, and played for a couple of hours. AWESOME. We went through the Christmas lights at Olin-Turville before playing, and I noticed that some of my favorites really ARE there! (Erika, we have to go through later today-before partying it up- because we found BFing Santa!!!) Anyway...we played for a bit, Patty came over, I fixed Dan's papershredder, and then we decided to go to Perkins since Patty was craving chili cheese fries. We didn't know if they had those, but we knew they had fries and chili...they didn't have it on the menu, so now Patty's going to kill me for taking her to a "ghetto" place. Whatever. It was there that Dan told me he liked the waitress we had tonight over Steve. Dude, Steve had the table behind us, and I felt like I was cheating on him! We had a great time at Perkins. Got to decode things that may not have to be decoded (and other normal saying things that make Kristy blush and fidget), and other fun stuff, like people's heads ending up in other's laps. Gotta love some of the things that come out of each other's mouths. It was good times...good times...the times I miss when I'm gone. But I know that I'll get those good times out in Vegas once I make more friends.
I had an excellent time seeing everyone the other day. I got to hang out with Adam and Adrienne a lot, and that was cool as hell. I was able to see most of the people I wanted to see while I was home. It was a good time.

I don't know what it is, but in the past 3 days, people have handed me the keys to their car. Adam had me drive his car a lot when we were together. Then tonight when dad and I were going to go shopping for a bed for me, and a washer and dryer for the condo, he handed me the keys to Big Blue. Then when we decided that we were going to Perkins, Dan had had 5 martinis, and we decided to take his car. I got to drive. I know that I don't have my car here, but damn, I'll take any car that comes my way I guess.

I've admitted to myself that I actually miss watching sports. I find myself looking at ESPN when I'm out in restaurants and such. I guess I got too used to it while I was with my godparents. Damn, I never thought I would ever miss watching sports...

Alright, I am falling asleep. I need my sleep so that I can party with Erika and Patty into the wee hours of the New Year! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
